It's simple. Just reach out through our contact page or by phone to schedule a drop-off time. We'll confirm a time and send you our West Jordan address. Drop your knives off, and we'll have them sharpened and ready for pick-up within 48 hours. When they're done, you come back and grab them. That's the whole process.

Most orders are ready within 48 hours of drop-off. If you have a large batch or something that needs extra attention (like chip repair), we'll let you know upfront if it might take a little longer. We'll never leave you guessing.

A quick rinse and dry is appreciated, but don't stress about it. Just make sure your knives are reasonably clean — no heavy food residue or grease. We'll handle everything else.

Yes. We sharpen serrated knives — bread knives, steak knives, and similar blades. Serrated sharpening takes a bit more time and care, which is why it's priced slightly higher than a standard straight edge. See our pricing page for details.

We can handle chip and tip repair as an add-on service. The cost depends on how much damage there is, but typically runs $5–$8 on top of the standard sharpening price. We'll take a look when you drop it off and let you know the exact cost before we do any work — no surprises.

The easiest way is through our contact page. Fill out the short form with your name, phone number, and a brief message about what you're bringing in. You can also call or text us directly. We'll get back to you within 24 hours to confirm a time and send you our address.

A few simple habits go a long way. Use a honing rod (or a leather strop for finer knives) regularly to realign the edge — this isn't the same as sharpening, but it keeps your knife performing well between visits. Always cut on wood or plastic cutting boards, never glass or ceramic. Hand-wash and dry your knives rather than putting them in the dishwasher. And store them in a block, on a magnetic strip, or with blade guards — not loose in a drawer.

The one type we can't sharpen is ceramic knives. Ceramic blades require diamond tooling and a different process entirely, so we're not set up for those. We focus on kitchen knives and outdoor knives — chef's knives, paring knives, serrated blades, hunting knives, pocket knives, and Japanese knives. If you're not sure whether yours qualifies, just ask.

Not at this time — we're a drop-off and pick-up service only. You bring your knives to us, and you pick them up when they're done. We'll send you our West Jordan address when you schedule. No mail-in, no shipping, no door-to-door service. Just a quick trip to and from our location.
